Harmony Project Hosts Conductor Circle Members
Los Angeles, CA (Sunday, February 15, 2026) — A day after Valentine’s Day, the love of equity within the live arts was alive and well in Brentwood, as Harmony Project’s most dedicated champions gathered for our annual Conductor’s Circle celebration. Hosted at the Brentwood Country Club, this event serves as a heartfelt "thank you" to our Conductor’s Circle members. These individuals provide annual contributions of $5,000 or more to support the vital foundation for our mission to empower underserved children through music.

The program opened with a warm welcome from Chairman Emeritus, Howard Banchik, and Executive Director, Natalie Jackson, who shared the latest milestones in our students' academic and musical development. The evening’s narrative was further enriched by two of our remarkable college alumni, Edgar Mejia (California State University, Long Beach) and Judith Chaclan (University of California, Los Angeles), who took the stage to share how Harmony Project’s mentorship set up the foundation for their success in higher education and beyond.
The room was filled with the sounds of our mission in action, featuring a diverse range of performances that showcased the depth of our curriculum. Guests were treated to:
A stirring solo by current student Alan on the keyboard, accompanied by his teaching artist Zach Gatto on the bass.
A solo performance by alumni flautist, Daniel Chavez who is completing his degree at California State University at Long Beach.
Vibrant sets from our Lennox Mariachi and EXPO Park Winds Ensemble.

Executive Director Natalie Jackson and Chairman Emeritus Howard Banchik both expressed deep gratitude for the room’s collective impact over the years. They emphasized that this support does more than provide instruments; it allows Harmony Project to remain a responsive, life-changing resource for families in underserved Los Angeles communities.
This year’s gathering was a powerful reminder that when we "Give Music," we truly "Change Lives." To our Conductor’s Circle members: thank you for your unwavering belief in our young artists and for helping us unlock their full potential.

As we look ahead to our 25th Anniversary Gala Luncheon on May 3, we invite you to continue this momentum by purchasing a ticket or making a donation to ensure the 25 years of music and mentorship is our most impactful yet.
