Harmony Project’s annual gala, Celebrating 18 Years of Achievement, is a gathering of our most dedicated supporters featuring a luncheon and performances by Harmony Project students from across Los Angeles. This year, we are thrilled to recognize Barbara and Arnold Price for their incredible, continued support of our programming.

Meet our 2019 Honorees, Barbara and Arnold Price.
Arnold is President of Price, Raffel & Browne and has been active in the insurance industry for over 60 years. He is one of 12 original and continuous members of the prestigious Top of the Table of the Million Dollar Round Table. He has been recognized as Gateways Hospital Man of the Year and has served on many boards, including Insurance Division of the United Jewish Welfare Fund, the Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Jewish Home. Arnold also was elected to the University of Connecticut School of Business Hall of Fame and served as an advisor to the U.S. Department of Labor. Barbara and Arnold received the Los Angeles Jewish Home Humanitarian Award in 2011 and they are both proud supporters of American Friends of Hebrew University.
Barbara was introduced to volunteerism as a young wife and mother when she became an active member of her local B’nai B’rith chapter in New York. It was then that she turned a simple rummage sale fund raiser into an ongoing community project providing access to household goods and clothing to needy residents in her neighborhood. Barbara has always believed that investment in our children can change the world. Because she is aware that early education can shape a life, she is, on a continuing basis, funding projects for teachers in underserved public schools with high poverty populations. Her commitment to Harmony Project is an extension of that mission. Barbara currently sits on the Board of Governors of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, is a member of the Board of The Guardians, has participated in Project Angel Food’s program preparing meals for those who cannot do so, and is a proud supporter of Planned Parenthood. She is also deeply committed to helping female candidates get elected to public office.
