Harmony Project Alumna Cynthia Jacinto Featured on CBS National TV Show 'Mission Unstoppable'

Los Angeles, CA (June 3, 2026) — The national spotlight recently shined bright on the Los Angeles music education community. Harmony Project is thrilled to announce that our organization, alongside one of our remarkable Hollywood alumni, Cynthia Jacinto, was featured on the hit CBS morning television show Mission Unstoppable with Miranda Cosgrove!.

The inspiring segment gave viewers across the country an inside look at how our music organization empower children from under-resourced communities in greater Los Angeles. While Harmony Project is deeply rooted in music education, our comprehensive child development model prepares students for success in higher education and beyond. This special televised feature highlighted how our alumni are translating the discipline of music into thriving careers in STEM fields, including science, technology, engineering, and math.

Cynthia Jacinto embodies this multi-dimensional success. After graduating from UC Riverside with a degree in neuroscience, she is now actively applying to medical school. To gain hands-on clinical experience during this rigorous application process, she is currently working directly in the emergency room of a major local hospital here in the Los Angeles area. Her journey demonstrates how learning an instrument cultivates the critical thinking, focus, and resilience necessary to succeed in elite scientific fields.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Joyce Brandman of The Joyce and Saul Brandman Foundation for their pivotal role in empowering this segment. Their support allows us to champion student achievement and keep high-quality music tuition accessible to underserved families across Los Angeles.

We are incredibly proud to see our students' hard work recognized on a national stage. To watch the full segment and learn more about our alumni success stories, visit our media page today.
