RUN THE LA MARATHON TO BENEFIT THE HARMONY PROJECT DO GOOD, CHALLENGE YOURSELF, AND ENJOY THE ALL-NEW STADIUM TO THE SEA COURSE!

We are proud to announce that the Harmony Project has been selected as an affiliate charity of the 2010 LA Marathon!

Join us at Dodger Stadium for the 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 20th or on Sunday, March 21st for the full 26.2-mile marathon. For this 25th Anniversary year, the LA Marathon has set a brand new ?Stadium to the Sea? course, taking runners on an exciting tour of iconic sites in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica.

If you are a walker, runner, or just want to participate as a supporter of the most unifying sporting event in Los Angeles, make every step count for kids right here in our own community. At the end of the day, you will take pride in knowing that your efforts have helped kids gain access to music education.

You can register now at www.lamarathon.com. In the field where you are asked if you are running with an official charity group, be sure to select The Harmony Project from the drop down menu.

You?ll find that when you share your commitment and dedication, you?ll be pleased by the generosity of others. Many others have raised money for a cause near and dear to their hearts simply by sending a letter or email to their family and friends. The Harmony Project can provide you with a fundraising packet which includes tips, sample solicitation letters, and pledge forms to help you reach your goal. While email is the most cost-effective way to fundraise, Harmony Project will pay the postage for your 1st 50 fundraising letters. Funds raised will be used to provide free instruments and music lessons to underserved children throughout Greater Los Angeles.
